introduction and literature review 4

This assignment must include all required academic sources, in addition to any included non-academic sources, and should explain how your research question is supported by the literature and how your study contributes to that literature. The length of the literature review is not as important as how well you lay out each piece of the argument to build a solid rationale. This section should accomplish the following:

  1. Show that the research question you have asked has more than one possible answer, and that there is an open debate among scholars between different answers to your question
  2. Review the existing literature and explain how your research will add or extend on this scholarship
  3. Summarize the research articles you use in your own words whenever possible
  4. Include in-text citations and a references page formatted using an appropriate academic style
