Instructions

Sarah has been with GHG Corporation for about a month. As part of her initial month with the firm, she has witnessed some bad practices within the projects that are currently underway. Many bad behaviors and difficulties are apparent within them. Sarah has been asked to develop a plan to address these areas and discuss how this will fix some of the challenges seen in past projects. Sarah knows you are taking this course, and has asked you for your help in developing this plan, and addressing these challenges.

Students should review the areas of the unit that discuss managing remote teams, as well as how we manage the process of dealing with difficult people. Using this information and these techniques, each student should develop a plan for use in a project to help avoid these challenges.

Each plan should cover:

  • The general process used within the project to keep all remote team members showing good behavior, rather than bad.
  • How the project team will identify bad behaviors and what steps will be taken to address them.
  • The communication plan should also contain elements within it to discuss how the team and its leadership will address the remote team members within the team as the project is being completed.

Estimated time to complete: 8 hours
